Carmen Apartments: Your Refuge in Maro

The Carmen Apartments consist of four cozy spaces for vacation rentals. Apartment 1B, located on the first floor without elevator, offers a unique experience with a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen open to the living room. With free Wi-Fi and air conditioning in the living room, the apartment also has a terrace and a communal pool on the roof, from where you can enjoy spectacular views of the town and the sea.

Located in Maro, an authentic, quiet and picturesque area, we invite you to enjoy the sun, the beach and the local hospitality. Ideal for getaways as a couple, our apartments are located just 6 minutes by car from the crystal-clear waters of Maro beach, within the impressive natural setting of the Maro cliffs, considered one of the best beaches in Spain. Here, you can snorkel, scuba dive or explore the cliffs by kayak, admiring waterfalls and natural caves along the way, including the famous Nerja Cave.

On the roof, you will find a terrace and a communal pool, as well as two sun loungers shared with other guests. Communal washing machines are available in a small room on the roof for shared use.

The apartment is delivered clean, with dressed beds and a set of towels per person. For stays of more than 10 nights, we provide an extra set of towels per person and an extra set of sheets in the closet. There is no housekeeping service during the stay, but it is available upon request and for an additional cost.

Unfortunately, the apartment is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Arrival is autonomous through a key box at the entrance of the Carmen Apartments. We respect the privacy of our guests, but we are available from 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday and we provide an emergency telephone number outside of these hours.

Maro, a district of Nerja, is just 5 minutes by car from the center of Nerja and Maro beach, considered one of the best in Spain. Here are the famous Nerja caves, an essential visit. In the surrounding area, you will find pharmacies, local shops and tapas bars near the main square of Maro, next to the church. It is a quiet and picturesque area that preserves the charm of the typical Andalusian town.

It is recommended to have a car to move around the area, go to the beach or visit Nerja. However, there are buses available at the entrance to Maro that take you to Nerja. Many guests choose to walk, with it being a walk of approximately 45 minutes to Nerja and 20 minutes to Maro beach.
