Apartamentos Carmen: Your Ideal Retreat in Maro

Apartamentos Carmen offers four vacation rental apartments. Apartment 2D, located on the second floor without an elevator, features one bedroom, one bathroom, and an open kitchen connected to the living room. It includes free Wi-Fi and air conditioning in the living room, a terrace, and a communal rooftop pool with views of the village and the sea.

Situated in Maro, a genuine, tranquil, and picturesque area where you can bask in the sun, relax on the beach, and embrace the local culture. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

Only a 6-minute drive from the crystal-clear waters of Maro Beach, within the natural setting of Maro cliffs, considered one of Spain's best beaches. Ideal for snorkeling, diving, or kayaking along the cliffs, where you can enjoy waterfalls and natural caves, including the renowned Nerja Cave.

Rooftop and communal pool, with two shared loungers for guests of the apartments. The apartments do not have washers inside; instead, there's a small room on the rooftop with two communal washers for guests to share.

Not adapted for people with reduced mobility. The apartment is delivered clean, with beds dressed and one set of towels per person. For stays longer than 10 nights, an extra set of towels per person and an additional set of sheets are provided in the wardrobe. There is no cleaning service during the stay; however, it is available upon request at an additional cost. The terrace is available for use, but the pool is closed until June 2023.

We respect guests' privacy but are available from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Friday. Outside these hours, we provide a phone for emergencies.

House rules:

Autonomous arrival via a key box.
No noise, especially from 11 pm to 11 am.
Mandatory documentation for all guests aged 14 and older.
Minors must be under the supervision of a responsible adult; there are stairs, a pool, etc.
Travel cot available upon request and at an additional cost.
No smoking, pets, parties, or events allowed.
Maro, a district of Nerja, is just a 5-minute drive from the center of Nerja and the crystalline waters of Maro Beach, considered one of Spain's best. This is where the famous Nerja Caves are located, a must-see. Nearby the apartment, you'll find pharmacies, local grocery stores, typical tapas bars, and cafes near Maro's main square, next to the church. It's a quiet and picturesque area that still preserves the charm of a typical Andalusian village.

I recommend having a car to explore the area, go to the beach, or visit Nerja. Alternatively, you can take a bus at the entrance of Maro to Nerja. Many people walk these routes; it's approximately a 45-minute walk to Nerja and 20 minutes to Maro Beach.
